We are very excited to announce that we successfully purchased a beautiful City Zip filly out of Multiple Stakes winning Dam, Nehantic Kat at the 2018 Keeneland September Sale.

City Zip was a prolific runner, beginning his career as a 2yo and retiring at the age of 3yo after 23 starts and 9 wins, 8 of them being stakes races. In addition, he was also a three time Eclipse Award winner. City Zip has sired the likes of; Collected (Multiple graded stakes winner including the 2017 Pacific Classic. Earner of $2.9M), DayAtTheSpa (Multiple graded stakes winner including the 2014 Breeders Cup Filly And Mare Turf. Earner of $2.2M), and Catch A Glimpse (Multiple graded stakes winner including the 2015 Juvenile Fillies Turf. Earner of $1.9M).

The reason for purchasing this filly was an easy one. Our team has tons of experience with the filly's stakes winning dam, Nehantic Kat, and the rest of the family. She is a big bodied filly with a big girth, a tremendous backside, and an overall body that we look for in yearlings. She is a precocious one, the type of horse to lead you instead of you leading her. In addition to being a registered New York -Bred she is also Virginia Certified. Due to being Virginia-Certified she is eligible for a 25% bonus each race she runs in New York and other Mid-Atlantic States.

She is from the same breeding cross as Collected. A Multiple graded stakes winner who won the 2017 Pacific Classic. Collected earned nearly $3M on the racetrack and now stands at stud at Airdrie Stud.
